Sadly, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we cannot meet each other and create a meaningful painting for your home together, so for the time being I will continue to take you with me on virtual explorations and walks.

These photos had been lying undeveloped in my drawer since 1997, as I no longer had the opportunity to share a darkroom. Now I’ve finally taken them to a laboratory, and although the quality is of course somewhat questionable by today’s standards, I think the black and white vintage look is kind of great!
Diese Fotos lagen unentwickelt seit 1997 in meiner Schublade, da ich damals keine Möglichkeit mehr hatte, eine Dunkelkammer mitzubenutzen. Jetzt habe ich sie endlich mal weggebracht, und obwohl die Qualität nach heutigem Standard natürlich etwas fragwürdig ist, finde ich den Schwarz-Weiß-Vintage-Look irgendwie toll!

Wegen eines Sturmes konnten wir Carnac damals nicht besuchen, deshalb haben wir uns mehrere kleine Stätten angesehen.
Because of a storm we could not visit Carnac at that time, so we looked at several small sites.
Unsere Unterkunft war in Lannion, und wir haben die Umgebung von dort erkundet. Und wir sind zwischendurch auch mal an die West-/Atlantikküste gefahren.
Our accommodation was in Lannion, and we explored the surroundings from there. And we also went to the west/atlantic coast in between.

Auf dem Rückweg haben wir dann noch Mont-Saint-Michel besucht.
On the way home, we visited Mont-Saint-Michel.
ETA 13.06.2021: I always wanted to paint the motif, and even though I can’t paint with pastels at the moment, I practised with watercolour today and collected ideas of what a future painting could look like.
Ich wollte das Motiv immer schon malen, und auch wenn ich im Moment nicht mit Pastellkreiden malen kann, habe ich heute mal mit Aquarell geübt und Ideen gesammelt, wie ein späteres Gemälde aussehen kann.
